Societe Generale European Business Services, the shared service center for Societe Generale Group which delivers high added value services in various fields of activity such as Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, KYC (Know Your Customers) and IT, has reached an important milestone of 1,000 employees due to an accelerated growth over the last three years. Societe Generale European Business Services ranks now among the 10 largest shared service centers in Romania, a sector which attracts more than 7% of the working population in Romania.

Societe Generale European Business Services was founded in 2011 and delivered an average year to year growth of 50% by adding new services to its portfolio and constantly increasing the number of employees. From only one SSC (Shared Service Centre) specialized in Finance in 2011, the company developed into a comprehensive one providing a wide range of activity in Finance, HR, IT or Back Office functions and is currently serving over 35 countries.

Societe Generale European Business Services business mix is well balanced with 70% for Business Process Services and 30% for Technology and Infrastructure Management Services (from IT support up to IT development). Future development plans aim to increase the ratio for IT services.

Out of the 1,000 employees of Societe Generale European Business Services, Finance Shared Service Center counts more than 35%, Human Resources Shared Service Center around 20%, while over 30% of the employees are responsible for IT services.
