Matthieu Pasquier appointed Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale European Business Services

The Board of Directors of Societe Generale has appointed Matthieu Pasquier as Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale European Business Services effective 16^th of July 2018.  The appointment is a new chapter for SG EBS which has been constantly growing and adapting to the local market.

As the Chief Executive Officer of SG EBS, Matthieu will continue the Group strategy for driving significant growth and for continuing the development of the company on the Romanian market. His responsibilities will include delivering services’ excellence, offering optimized and innovative solutions for SG Groupe and accelerating SG EBS expansion.”

Matthieu Pasquier is replacing Philippe Garcet, who has contributed for the past three years to making SG EBS one of the most important outsourcing companies in Romania with a constant developing path which brought the company to the point of having over 1500 employees in 7 years.

Matthieu Pasquier will report directly to Sunil Shah who was recently appointed Global Head of Societe Generale’s solutions centers in India and Romania.

Matthieu joined Societe Generale Group in 1991 within the IT Department of Inspection and since then, he had various management roles in SGSS operations, covering perimeters in Johannesburg, Nantes, Luxembourg and India. Since 2014, Matthieu was Head of SG GSC Chennai & Head of SGSS operations for SG GSC.
