What are the cookies?

2. OVERVIEW OF THE COOKIE USED TECHNOLOGY

TYPES OF COOKIE USED FILES

PIXEL Tracking
SG GSC, as the present Internet site operator, uses Pixel files included in https://globalsolutioncentre.societegenerale.ro sites’ HTML code. Thus, the HTML code of these sites contains an external link, which can be activated only as a result of the presentation of your consent, and leads to the dedicated server of the Pixel file. So, if you present your consent by accessing the pop-up dedicated to the consent’ collection to the use of these technologies by SG GSC, at the time of accessing these Internet pages (consent is collected separately for each of these pages), the HTML code of the accessed site will be processed by your browser and your browser will follow the link placed in the HTML code to open the Pixel file. This action will automatically communicate with the Pixel file server which will record information about your online presence.
The following are included among the information collected by the Pixel file, to the extent that you consent to such processing:
a) The operating system you use;

To give website visitors more options on how their data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the browser extension to opt out of Google Analytics. The extension communicates with Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate that information about visiting the website should not be sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics opt-out browser extension does not prevent your information from being sent to the website or other web analytics services.

« Web beacons » technologies
A web beacon is a small image file on a web page that can be used to collect certain information on your computer, such as your IP address, the length of time the content was viewed, the type of browser, and the existence of cookies previously set by same server. SG GSC uses the web beacon exclusively in accordance with applicable laws. SG GSC or its services providers use web beacons to track the effectiveness of third party websites that provide us with recruitment or marketing services or to collect consolidated statistics about visitors and to manage cookies.
You can choose to make some web beacons unusable by rejecting the associated cookies. The web beacon file may still record an anonymous visit from your IP address, but cookie information will not be recorded.

Location-based tools
