First edition of Tech Days organized by BRD Groupe Societe Generale & Societe Generale European Business Services

On 21st and 22nd of January the first edition of Tech Days, organized by BRD Groupe Societe Generale and Societe Generale European Business Services, took place in Bucharest, Romania.
The event is a tradition for Societe Generale Group and it’s a great opportunity to present all the main technology related projects available within the group.
This first joint edition offered to all guests, Societe Generale employees, suppliers and partners, the possibility to explore the novelties brought by the digital trends in the banking area. The entire event focused on new technologies and presented different perspectives on subjects such as: cyber security, speech-to-text, RPA, VR and Big Data.
More than 30 success projects from SG EBS and BRD Groupe Societe Generale were presented in 15 booths and 25 presentations. Over 500 guests where present each day to visit the booths, discover the presentations and the projects.
Dragos Stanca, founder of ICEE.fest, joined us in this digital journey as the event’s host and started both days with a presentation about tech trends and novelties from the IT industry.
The success of the first edition of Tech Days marked the start of a long-term tradition for this kind of event.
