Societe Generale announces the appointment of Philippe Gabulon as Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) in Romania, effective August 1, 2021. Philippe will continue in his positions as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SG GSC India and Chief Operating Officer for both global solution centres in India and Romania.
Philippe Gabulon has been with Societe Generale for over three decades, influencing and impacting positive changes across the board. He has led several global roles spanning Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Information Technology, Offshoring, Operations and Audit. Philippe’s new appointment comes at a time of huge growth and opportunity for SG GSC in Romania and his credentials and leadership experience will strengthen the company’s capability.
Philippe Gabulon succeeds Matthieu Pasquier who will pursue new challenges within the Group. Matthieu has focused his efforts in increasing the company’s efficiency by optimizing its operating model and going beyond cost arbitrage. His inspirational and visionary leadership has made a difference in management’s organization, driving a constant and transparent communication with his team. Furthermore, Matthieu has significantly contributed in opening a new chapter in the company’s journey, advancing from ‘European’ to ‘Global’.
