SG EBS encourages initiatives that support team spirit and promotes collaboration and, also, encourages its employeesâ€™ initiatives, as the drive of creating the first Touch Rugby team in the company belongs to one of SG EBSâ€™ employees.
A few months after organizing the team, it was time to participate to the first tournament, an event that brought together both amateur and professional players.
On 15th of September, SG EBS Touch Rugby team played against 8 more other teams and won â€œPLATE 2nd placeâ€.
This event was meant to also mark the start of the 2019 World Rugby Championship (September 20).
Also, a couple of months ago, SG EBS Touch Rugby Team participated at a special event, together with â€œFundatia Education Thgrough Rugbyâ€, where they enjoyed playing a demonstrative game with children from this association. Such activities will continue to be organized by SG EBS to encourage this sport and support children.
SG EBS Touch Ruby team will continue its activity and they will bring back many more other trophies in the coming competitions they will participate at.
