Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) consolidates its position as a top employer in Romania and obtains the “Great Place to Work” certification, granted by the independent global authority Great Place to Work® Institute following a careful evaluation of the organizational culture and company work environment.

Through the certification process, the human resources practices, working conditions, training programs and development opportunities in the company were analyzed, as well as other aspects that contribute to an excellent place to work. The evaluation method used is based on five dimensions, representing essential criteria from the employees’ point of view: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. This model allows for a thorough investigation of employee perceptions of the workplace, as well as employees relationships with the leadership team or with their colleagues.

With a participation rate of over 50%, the results of the study confirm that SG GSC employees have a constant positive work experience. Among the most important aspects, they mentioned equal opportunities (regardless of race, gender, age, or sexual orientation) and physical safety (especially in the context generated by the COVID-19 pandemic). Respondents also highlighted several strengths of the organization, attributes that make a major contribution to the company’s culture:

  • diversity is embraced and inclusion is promoted through concrete actions;
  • good management communication, always constant and consistent with the decisions taken;
  • appropriate facilities and equipment, different ways of working, work-life balance is encouraged;
  • quick adaptation to change and openness to innovation;
  • pride towards the contribution to community and perception from customers for the excellent services.

The “Great Place to Work” certification comes in an atypical context for the entire business environment and once again demonstrates our ability to adapt to change and perform to the same high standards without limiting the opportunities of our colleagues. We are proud and grateful to be on the list of the best workplaces in Europe and in the world. With a team of over 2,200 experts and specialists, we have the responsibility to foster a positive culture and an inclusive work environment in which people learn, grow, and develop. We strive to offer experiences tailored to individual needs and provide the necessary resources for our colleagues to build their dream career with us.
