Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is back as a Stage Partner @ DevTalks Reimagined 2021

On June 9-11, over 8,000 programmers, engineers, managers, freelancers, and technology enthusiasts took part in the most awaited IT&C event in Romania. Known for over 7 years as the landmark event for the IT&C community and for the second year in an exclusively online format, DevTalks Reimagined returned in 2021 with a new edition dedicated to quality technical content through the 15 dedicated stages, with well-structured conferences during the 3 days, each highlighting specific technologies or areas.

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) was once again one of the Stage Partners of the event, and on June 11 the participants were invited to watch 8 live sessions at our CodeClash stage. The day was opened by Jean-Pierre Brouste, Head of IT Hub, followed by 14 other experts from companies that play an important role in the local and/or international industry. Among them was our colleague, Cristina Haidău, IT Applications Security Analyst, who presented 10 innovative technological trends for 2021 and beyond. More than 250 participants watched Cristina’s session in real time, and throughout the day more than 1,400 technology enthusiasts attended the stage conferences.

Each year, DevTalks brings together IT professionals who discuss and share their own experiences. In addition to the great content and live sessions, DevTalks Reimagined focuses on interaction and networking. This year, over 460 participants visited our SG GSC virtual booth in the expo area – talking directly with our IT experts about the latest trends in the industry, the technologies we work with and the projects that have a real impact in our company.

Innovation and technology are already part of our Group’s DNA, and in Romania we have the same ambition and act with the same responsibility towards a sustainable digital future. We are grateful for this year’s DevTalks experience and look forward to the next one.
